I have different class levels, Puppy 1, Puppy 2, Basic 1, Basic 2,

Intermediate, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2.

As always we focus on automatic sit, heel, down, stay, sit from a down, come, leave it, no jump/bark/bite. We will teach cue words for getting into and out of the car as well as a release word to end working. Each class works around these obedience commands and with each step makes things a little harder!

Send me a message and we can figure out what class is best suited for your needs.

Service dog, emotional support or

therapy dog classes

(price to be determined at consult)

Service dogs assist people with physical, neurological, or psychological disabilities to perform everyday tasks. They help people overcome limitations caused by the disability and increase their independence and freedom.. They can help people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Military Sexual Trauma, or Traumatic Brain Injury to function successfully in public, helping them to feel secure and easing stressful situations. Each service dog/handler team is individually trained to address the unique needs of the handler.

We provide service dog training to help with the specific needs of his or her handler. The dog, the handler, and often the handler’s family or support group are trained to work together to help overcome the specific day-to-day challenges faced by the handler. Service dog training includes teaching the dog how to behave appropriately in every type of public setting they may encounter, including cars, elevators, public transportation, restaurants, churches, wheelchairs, crowds, other dogs, and noises and distractions. Our training provides concrete methods to prepare the service dog and the handler to pass a public access test.

We require a letter of medical necessity from one of your licensed medical providers, a sit down interview, a copy of your dog’s Rabies Certificate,  and documentation of distemper combo vaccination (i.e., DHPP) to commence training. Throughout the course of training, we also need a veterinarian health check letter. In addition to passing all training requirements, to complete the program you must maintain at a least a 6-month relationship with Passion Fur Paws, and your dog must be at least 6 months old, be mentally and physically mature, and be sterilized (spayed/neutered).

I look forward to hearing from you!
